CME ON “COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH TO ALLERGIC RHINITIS”

Under the guidance and able support of Dr. Mohan M E, Dean cum Principal, BGS GIMS, CME on “Comprehensive approach to Allergic Rhinitis” was conducted successfully by Department of ENT on 08/04/2022. Our guest of honor was Dr. Pendakur Anand, Renowned Senior Allergologist and ENT Consultant who was felicitated by Dr. Mohan M E, Dean cum Principal. The program included various scientific sessions by invited guest speakers regarding Allergic Rhinitis followed by live Skin prick test demonstration.

Following the scientific sessions, at the end of the programme live skin prick test demonstration was performed by Dr. Vybhavi M K, Assistant professor & Dr. Lavanya M Senior Resident (Certified Allergologists) Department of ENT. To conclude, an active Allergy clinic is being run in the Department of ENT, BGS GIMS where Allergy Skin testing is done regularly and Immunotherapy services are being provided to patients with Allergy.
