Department ofPharmacology

Where Expertise Meets Innovation in Every Specialty.

“Before therapeutics can become a science, the physician must know the action of his drugs”
– Brunton, 1879

We are the department whose essence is synonymous with the aphorism; “Drug meets Body, Body Meets Drug”. A translational discipline, committed to excellence in teaching and research, we strive towards amalgamating basic pharmacological principles with rational prescribing so as to maximize healthcare benefits & minimize drug-related harm. With innovative teaching-learning methodologies that include student-centered approach and simulation-based learning, we aim to inculcate scientific spirit and professionalism among students to work towards achieving patient safety.
